A Young Hearts Desire
June 23, 2009 We lost a fighter, a young man who's desire was to preach the word of God and one day take his well-gained spot next to him. The author of many blogs, the second inspiration for this blog. Today I am here still not wanting to believe that you are gone. I just want to thank you for awakening that passion for Christ in me, for teaching our young ones, for being there when they needed a "big bro", for just being who you were. An anointed fighter, a man of God! Though my heart didn't want to hear the words "he won the race" I truly have to admit Joel you made it! With tears in my eyes I still have to give you the "props". Now we have our Campaña this weekend, and I know you would want us to have a complete revival, a celebration! Even though our pain is too strong for words and we miss you sooo much, we will dedicate this Campaña to your accomplishment! I love YOU Joel and I will never forget you, because you were off tha' hook :)

God is LOVE
Many understand it as God being love, loving us. But the true meaning is that he is LOVE, just like the bible says "Love is the greatest of all" (1 Corinthians 13:13) God is the greatest of all, He is LOVE. Love is a feeling every human needs. Therefore, God is love!
Amen
Why Do You Give Them And Not Me?
1 Do not fret because of evil men
or be envious of those who do wrong;
2 for like the grass they will soon wither,
like green plants they will soon die away.
3 Trust in the LORD and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
4 Delight yourself in the LORD
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him and he will do this:
6 He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,
the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when men succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes.
8 Refrain from anger and turn from wrath;
do not fret—it leads only to evil.
9 For evil men will be cut off,
but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land.
10 A little while, and the wicked will be no more;
though you look for them, they will not be found.
11 But the meek will inherit the land
and enjoy great peace.
12 The wicked plot against the righteous
and gnash their teeth at them;
13 but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
for he knows their day is coming.
14 The wicked draw the sword
and bend the bow
to bring down the poor and needy,
to slay those whose ways are upright.
15 But their swords will pierce their own hearts,
and their bows will be broken.
16 Better the little that the righteous have
than the wealth of many wicked;
17 for the power of the wicked will be broken,
but the LORD upholds the righteous.
18 The days of the blameless are known to the LORD,
and their inheritance will endure forever.
19 In times of disaster they will not wither;
in days of famine they will enjoy plenty.
20 But the wicked will perish:
The LORD's enemies will be like the beauty of the fields,
they will vanish—vanish like smoke.
21 The wicked borrow and do not repay,
but the righteous give generously;
22 those the LORD blesses will inherit the land,
but those he curses will be cut off.
23 If the LORD delights in a man's way,
he makes his steps firm;
24 though he stumble, he will not fall,
for the LORD upholds him with his hand.
25 I was young and now I am old,
yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken
or their children begging bread.
26 They are always generous and lend freely;
their children will be blessed.
27 Turn from evil and do good;
then you will dwell in the land forever.
28 For the LORD loves the just
and will not forsake his faithful ones.
They will be protected forever,
but the offspring of the wicked will be cut off;
29 the righteous will inherit the land
and dwell in it forever.
30 The mouth of the righteous man utters wisdom,
and his tongue speaks what is just.
31 The law of his God is in his heart;
his feet do not slip.
32 The wicked lie in wait for the righteous,
seeking their very lives;
33 but the LORD will not leave them in their power
or let them be condemned when brought to trial.
34 Wait for the LORD
and keep his way.
He will exalt you to inherit the land;
when the wicked are cut off, you will see it.
35 I have seen a wicked and ruthless man
flourishing like a green tree in its native soil,
36 but he soon passed away and was no more;
though I looked for him, he could not be found.
37 Consider the blameless, observe the upright;
there is a future b]">[b] for the man of peace.
38 But all sinners will be destroyed;
the future c]">[c] of the wicked will be cut off.
39 The salvation of the righteous comes from the LORD;
he is their stronghold in time of trouble.
40 The LORD helps them and delivers them;
he delivers them from the wicked and saves them,
because they take refuge in him.
There comes a phase in life where we realize, we have to serve God and ONLY him. Therefore, we start to seek him day and night and get closer to him, read his word as if it was the food that gives us strenght and knowledge. (Matthew 4:4) While we are serving God we start to ask for many things, we do not see as greed , we simply see it as a child just asking his/her father for certain things the child belives would make life better. As time passes and we're waiting on what we've asked, we see others being blessed with everything they ask for. We do not understand why, because many of them are not following God the way they should. So, one starts to wonder "what am I doing wrong?" and our faith starts to decrese. The grace behind all this is that only God truly knows what we need and what will make our lives better, so if you asked for something that you have not received it's because you truly don't need it.
Peace & Grace
"Why Are You Asking Why?"
" 29 He gives strength to those who are tired
and more power to those who are weak."
"Why?" is a question many Christians come across everyday. When we see that things do not have the outcome we were expecting we get frustrated and often see the only way out is to give up. Coming to church and kneeling down to pray in the altar I hear my brothers and sisters in Christ just asking "Why?" and I used to be just like them until I came across the answer. As a personal testimony, I've been dealing with the divorce of my parents for 8 years now and received a promise from the Lord that he will take care of my family and reunite them, because what God has joined no one should separate. (Matthew 19:4-6) Every great purpose God has with ones life comes with a process and every process comes with its trials. I came to a point where I did not understand anymore what his great purpose was with my life nor family. I always prayed asking: "Why are you letting me go through this?, Why is this pain killing me?" There was even a point where I decided to give up, but our God is so magnificent that he knows the exact moment when to come in, lift one up and ask "Why are you asking why?". After reading this verse I understood that my trials and tribulations were just tests I had to go through in order to be ready for his purpose in my life, and though sometimes we might not understand, as humans, what he wants to accomplish in our lives there is always faith which keeps one going and lets one understand that no matter what we're going through he knows it all, meaning when he truly knows one's about to give up, he comes in and lets one understand that He and only He can give strength to those who are tired. Stop asking "Why?" and start believing that he will give you the power to over come anything when you really need it.
Psalm 142:3
"3 When I am afraid,
you, Lord, know the way out.
In the path where I walk,
a trap is hidden for me."

Does the devil have a chance to repent and be forgiven???
Does the devil have a chance to repent and be forgiven???
Yet you(satan) said in your heart, " I will ascend to heaven.....I will make myself like the Most High, but you are brought down to the grave to the depths of the pit" (Isaiah14:13-15)
Can satan be forgiven?? Its a question that has been asked and has been thought of. But satan actually has no hope for the flagrant blasphemous sin he commited. When an individual makes the choice to sin they are all of sudden overwhelmed by the truth that they have committed an offense against God. Its a natural reaction to feel guilt after sinning (some people call this the guilty conscience) which causes you to confess your wrong and turn from it. This even happens when your not a christian. Forgiveness is not only gift from God or his expressed mercy, but also a time of space given by his grace. In order to answer the question about if satan can be forgiven you have to examin the reason "why" God wont do it. If there is anything about God its that he is a God of principle and purpose. Behind everything he has made and done he has done it for a purpose. When God created the sun he made sure placed it not too far or close from the earth in order to give off the right type of temperature. So when God created human beings(you and me) he placed us on earth, and when he created the angels he placed them in heaven. And when he placed human beings on the earth he made sure to have us live in a system called "time" but since the angels are with God in the spiritual word, that world in which he lives in doesnt run by "time" but by eternity and in eternity there is no such thing that exist as "time" because eternity is forever. Time cant keep up with eternity. So when satan sinned against God it was in heaven right? Heaven is where God is so it was in eternity. It was mentioned earlier that when we sin, we are provoked with guilt to turn away from our sins to God. When we ask for forgiveness God looks at us and says, ''okay, at this certain day and TIME you sinned. Im going to forget what you did at that TIME and give you some space(new TIME) to start over again and live right". But the reason why God cant do that for satan is because God looks at him and says, "since we live in a realm where time doesnt exist. I cant look at you and predict WHAT TIME you did this sin, so there is no SPARE TIME because I dont have any TIME to give you to start over." Thats another reason why the enemy is so jealous of us. When your jealous of someone its because they have something you dont have. What we have is TIME, and that will be something that he'll never have. But for those that live habitually sinful and refuse to repent. The bible says that when you dont repent that you store up Gods wrath on you(Romans2:5). When you fall and know that you have let God down, are you taking advantage of the time he's giving you to repent? Take it now because time is here but its also running short(1 Corinthians 7:29). I hope this provokes and stimulates you to meditate on the goodness of God towards mankind and to appreciate what it is that he's given us. Because in reality we dont deserve none of the benificiaries...But man, thats why his grace is so beautiful.
Grace and peace.
The Chosen Generation
1 Peter 2:9-10
9: But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into Hismarvelous light;
10: who once were not people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

My Favorite Psalm
Everyone has their favorite Psalm :) Here's mine!
Psalm 25
1 To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul;
2 in you I trust, O my God.
Do not let me be put to shame,
nor let my enemies triumph over me.
3 No one whose hope is in you
will ever be put to shame,
but they will be put to shame
who are treacherous without excuse.
4 Show me your ways, O LORD,
teach me your paths;
5 guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long.
6 Remember, O LORD, your great mercy and love,
for they are from of old.
7 Remember not the sins of my youth
and my rebellious ways;
according to your love remember me,
for you are good, O LORD.
8 Good and upright is the LORD;
therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.
9 He guides the humble in what is right
and teaches them his way.
10 All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful
for those who keep the demands of his covenant.
11 For the sake of your name, O LORD,
forgive my iniquity, though it is great.
12 Who, then, is the man that fears the LORD ?
He will instruct him in the way chosen for him.
13 He will spend his days in prosperity,
and his descendants will inherit the land.
14 The LORD confides in those who fear him;
he makes his covenant known to them.
15 My eyes are ever on the LORD,
for only he will release my feet from the snare.
16 Turn to me and be gracious to me,
for I am lonely and afflicted.
17 The troubles of my heart have multiplied;
free me from my anguish.
18 Look upon my affliction and my distress
and take away all my sins.
19 See how my enemies have increased
and how fiercely they hate me!
20 Guard my life and rescue me;
let me not be put to shame,
for I take refuge in you.
21 May integrity and uprightness protect me,
because my hope is in you.
22 Redeem Israel, O God,
from all their troubles!
PS. He's in control.
